Why book a boudoir shoot?
Karen was inspired to book a boudoir shoot with me after her friend’s had experienced a couple’s shoot with me. Karen heard all about it, saw how amazing her friends looked and – most importantly – how it made her friends feel after the shoot!
Stepping out your comfort zone…
All it takes is the courage to contact me. I know this is easier said than done. It takes stepping out of your comfort zone to do this. That mind of yours will perhaps try and talk you out of it! If it does, my advice is don’t listen! Stepping out your comfort zone is how you do amazing things!
I pride myself in making all my clients feel super comfortable with me. I take the time to get to know you. I love to schedule an in-person consultation – this is what I did with Karen.
Over a cup of tea and a nice chat, I noticed how happy Karen was in her new home. By the end of the consultation, we talked about locations and I suggested we do it in her home. That’s where Karen felt happy and confident and they are the positive energies that I want to work with.
Boudoir day
All my clients arrive with a bag of nervous energy! Having a boudoir shoot feels a little like getting ready for your wedding – nervous excitement!
But it never takes long for my clients to settle those nerves. I work with the most fabulous makeup artists who will bring out your best features as well as your confidence.
That chance to settle in and look in the mirror is the boost they need to know they can do this. Because they can trust me – trust in my abilities and trust in my work. Trust is everything!
Oh! This is fun!
Guaranteed, one pose in, you will start buzzing with confidence. Anyone who’s experienced a boudoir shoot with me knows I literally pose every part of you. This is why you absolutely do not need any experience or even much confidence, because I do it all.
My favourite part of a shoot is showing my clients on the back of my camera how amazing they look – no editing, no filters – just magic lighting and posing! That little peek is like magic! That’s when all the nerves go, and they relax and enjoy.
Personal touch
After your shoot, I offer either a zoom consultation or in-person consultation to go through the lightly edited proofs to choose the images for the final gallery.
The minimum order is 10, but most of my clients go for 15 because it’s so hard to whittle them down to ten!
Once chose, I personally retouch the images and create a beautiful gallery of images for the big reveal.
New for 2023
For 2023, I will only offer a Print Box collection or an upgrade to my new Boudoir Photobook. The reason for this is simply to ensure that my clients get the best results from their shoot. I have very high standards when it comes to prints and for my work to look its best, I only recommend professional-level printing to match the standard of my portraits.
Prints are beautifully gift boxed and ready to pop into standard-sized frames, which I will also help you group for maximum impact.
I also offer a wide range of canvas, acrylic and fine art prints as well as my Boudoir Photobook (images coming soon)
